Warren-Walker students are enriched with opportunities to experience global cultures both here and abroad. We enroll students from a variety of countries including Malaysia, China, South Korea and Mexico for a month long visit to full year enrollment. Our American students benefit in many ways from the opportunity to meet students of another culture and educational background. Current WW families are given an opportunity to host an international student in their homes for a short visit.
The goal of our International outreach is :
- To authentically implement our character education, foreign language, and social studies curriculum
- To prepare our students for a successful future within a global society
- To share our school, community, and culture with students from other countries
- To attract highly-qualified applicants from around the world to enroll as full-time students
International Students for Semester/Year Enrollment
The admissions standards for any student applying to Warren-Walker School are very high. International students wishing to enroll for a semester or more will be subject to the same rigorous requirements and apply through the Admissions Department. Applications are available online and are considered on a rolling admissions. Homestays are discouraged for students at this age level for a semester/year. Please contact our Director of Admission, Amy Hall at email@example.com for additional information, requirements, and tuition.
International Short-Stay Group Visit
Warren-Walker School coordinates with reputable international programs serving students in their native country to offer a short-stay, group experience in a variety of grades. In many cases our own families will host the student in their home for the duration of their visit. The international students are placed in an equivalent grade to their own and encouraged to experience a full immersion of American culture. The international students are accompanied by a bilingual chaperone or teacher.
All international students enrolling in our program must be academically proficient in English, demonstrate excellent character and behavior, and eager to experience a new culture, to share their own, and to participate in class.
