Student Council

Leadership opportunities are available through service to the school community as a member of the Student Council for grades 5 through 8.

Our overarching expectation for our fifth grade students is for them to learn the importance of filling leadership roles on their respective Lower School campuses.  This includes Student Council opportunities such as organizing campus level Community Service activities, and leading the Pledge of Allegiance and making announcements at our weekly Morning Flag Ceremonies.

In the Middle School, Student Council elections are held at the beginning of the school year. In order to serve, Student Council members must maintain good academic and citizenship standing.  Student Council hosts all school dances, sponsors fund-raising events, and provides Community Service activities.

Middle School Positions include:

  • President
  • Vice-President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Community Service chair
  • Spirit Coordinator
  • Social Chair
  • Athletic Chair
  • Class Representatives
