Warren-Walker School offers tuition assistance through "Gulls Nest", an Annual Fund initiative. The Fund continues to grow through the generosity of our many benefactors, including parents and alumni. Tuition assistance provides an opportunity for academically qualified children of varying social and economic backgrounds to attend Warren-Walker School.
General Guidelines for Tuition Assistance:
only one application is required per family and must include all siblings making application
only students entering Kindergarten-8th grades are eligible to receive tuition assistance
parents who are divorced, separated, or have never been married, must complete an application for each household, regardless of custodial arrangement
there is an expectation that when all children in an applicant household reach school age, both parents will be gainfully employed
the income and resources of both parents and/or stepparents is considered when determining the level of assistance
applicants are encouraged to explain special circumstances in the designated area provided on the application in order to give the tuition assistance committee a clear picture of a family’s financial situation
admission decisions are independent of the tuition assistance process, but every effort is made to run them concurrently. If not, extensions may be made to the deadlines imposed on the return of an enrollment contract pending a final disposition regarding tuition assistance
Prospective Families
Because we strive to allocate our resources wisely and fairly, our school uses FAST from Independent School Management (ISM) to process financial aid applications. FAST provides our school with a need-based financial analysis, allowing us to allocate our resources wisely and fairly. All information from FAST regarding a family’s request for financial assistance is kept confidential. Results are reviewed and determined by a Tuition Assistance Committee based on next year’s operating budget. Upon approval, offers of assistance are then sent to families.
To begin the application process, please follow the steps below:
Complete the Online Application. The application process is self-guided. Only one
application per family is needed, even if you have several children applying to Warren-Walker School. NOTE: parents who are divorced, separated, or have never been married, must complete an application for each household, regardless of custodial arrangement. You will set a unique username and password so that you may save information and return to it at a later date before submitting your application if you wish. Online e-mail and a 24/7 helpline is provided.
Unless an extension is granted or you are a late applicant, the online submission deadline is February 15.
Currently Enrolled WWS Families
Complete the Online Application by January 15 (of the current school year, for the next school year) in order to be considered in the first round of tuition assistance decisions.
Re-enrollment deposits are required for a tuition assistance application to be processed. If the tuition assistance determination does not meet your family's need, your deposit will be refunded.
Decisions will be mailed in February for those tuition assistance applications received by January 15. All other applications will be considered on a "first-come, first-served" rolling basis.
