Alumni

Once a Gull, Always a Gull!
Our Gulls alumni are an important part of Warren-Walker School’s legacy and sustainability. We are proud to have graduated over 10,000 students who have gone on to many of the best high schools, colleges and universities both near and far! Much of our current enrollment includes many students who are the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of our alumni, which demonstrates a profound and meaningful loyalty to Warren-Walker School.

Parents & Grandparents

Parents

The Warren-Walker Parents Foundation (WWPF), established in 1986, is comprised of all the parents of Warren-Walker students. Proud of its relationship with the teachers and administrators of Warren-Walker School, the purpose and continued involvement of this organization is to support the school in any manner the members, working closely with the administration, deem appropriate.
The WWPF’s primary goal is to enhance all WWS students’ educational environment by providing an effective vehicle for channeling the creativity, resources, and energies of WWS parents, grandparents and surrounding community. The primary fund-raising events conducted by the WWPF include the individual auxiliaries' Parent Party, Fun Run, Restaurant Nights, Greenery sales, See's Candy sales, etc. Proceeds from these events support a wide variety of programs. The WWPF provides an Arts Enrichment program, which annually brings a series of performing arts programs on campus for students, in addition to providing financial backing for class plays. Other WWPF-supported enhancements to the curriculum include "mini-grant" awards for teachers to acquire specific classroom items, the purchase of books for the library and classrooms, and new technology for our computer labs.
The WWPF sponsors various activities aimed at increasing communication between parents and the school. These activities include the Back-to-School luncheon for faculty and administration, and the coordination of room and grade-level parents. The WWPF also organizes our fall carnival, new family outreach and annual yearbook production. Finally, the WWPF arranges community service events with various charitable organizations in order to teach our students how to give back to their community.
Volunteer Opportunities
The WWPF is always looking for volunteers to help with the many projects it sponsors. Some of those opportunities include serving on the Executive Board as an officer, chairing the many committees, or volunteering time in a classroom by sharing a special talent, hobby, or information as a means of curricular enhancement.
Some committee opportunities include:
- Art Enrichment
- Book Exchange
- Book Fair
- Fall Carnival
- Fundraisers
- Middle School Dances
- New Family Outreach
- Parent Party and Auction
- Room or Grade Liaisons
- Staff Appreciation
- Uniform Resale

Grandparents
Warren-Walker School is providing for your grandchildren a well-rounded curriculum that encourages the development of the whole child. We know that you place a high value on education, as reflected in your own children’s choice of schools for your grandchildren. Your role in your grandchildren’s lives is special and important.
The Warren-Walker Parents Foundation is also an association for grandparents and offers many opportunities for you to be involved. Additionally, we are pleased to invite and welcome our students' grandparents on campus campus throughout the school year, and hope you will be able to join your grandchild for the wonderful events we have, such as our Fall Carnival and class plays, and especially Grandparents’ Day.
