Dog Days Are Over
Middle School is buzzing with activity this week. We have teachers prepping for classes, students helping set things up, and general excitment about the new school year.
Orientation Day - Students do not need to wear uniforms. Please come at the designated time. 7th and 8th grade students come at 7:45 a.m. for a quick meeting in the Cove. Then its off to classes, pick up home copy books, and leave by 8:15 a.m.
6th grade students meet at 8:30 for a bit longer meeting in the Cove. (We'll talk about camp) They, too, follow their schedules while I'm talking to parents, find their lockers, take their books home.
Each grade has a welcome back party after Orientation - a great way to connect and reconnect.
First Day - we ask that parents drop off and then come downstairs to the patio for the first Donuts with the Dean.
BBQ - A popular event for the entire Middle School and families. It's always a lot of fun with food and friends. Plan to be there. R.S.V.P. on line.
(8th grade students and parents have an important meeting on Thursday, September 6th from 5:00-6:00 p.m. for the DC/NY trip. Plan to be there)
Middle School is always in motion and we are looking forward to a spectatular year. See you next week!
