Back in the Saddle Again
With everyone back from memorable adventures at various camps we are settling into our routines. Routine doesn't mean dull, however. We just completed a very lively week of campaigning for the newly elected Student Council. Congratulations to them all! There were many creative speeches and great ideas to pursue during the upcoming year.
See you tomorrow night at Back-to-School Night from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
These years are ones of such tremendous growth in a variety of areas. We look forward to talking with parents about what to expect with students in Middle School at our Coffee with the Heads on Wednesday, October 10 at 7:45 a.m. Mr. Volker and I discuss stages of development and changes. Mrs. Volker will have your child's ERB test scores from last year available for you then.
A plug for the San Diego River Project coming up on Saturday, October 13 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Warren-Walker is fortunate to be part of a parent organization called WeCare. The consortium brings dynamic, nationally known speakers to our campuses. Warren-Walker is hosting the first WeCare speaker, Michelle Borba, whose talk: Strategies for Raising Successful, Self-Reliant, Less-Stressed Kids should be one of great interest for our families. Check the Parent Portal for details.
We are happily back in our job of teaching your kids.
(P.S. RSVP for the Monster Mash)
