Another Busy Week
As things go at Warren-Walker School, last week was a very busy week. Beginning on Monday with a sincere and emotionally touching Veterans' Day celebration at each Lower School, and ending on Friday with a sweet Point Loma Father / Daughter Dance in Linder Hall at the Middle School - with Awards Ceremonies, two Open Houses, a Headmasters' Advisory Council meeting, a Harvest Festival, a Pancake Breakfast, and an APEX FunRun in the middle - I'd say we capitalized on building empathy, strenthening relationships, and nurturing connectedness school wide.
This week was busy in a different way, with meetings, celebrations, the Mission Viewing in Point Loma's fouth grade classroom, and a tour of all three campuses for our WASC Visiting Committee Chair. I honestly feel emotionally fulfilled and extremely happy with our wonderfully supportive and engaged community of very caring people, and our busy lives.
Thanksgiving week has just as much potential for affective enlightenment! Personally, I'll spend the week enjoying our family, reflecting on all the heartening experiences of late, and preparing for more!
